With a strong early start in pre-kindergarten, children have a better chance of doing well in school, going to college or career training, and getting a good job. All of this can start by enrolling your child in FCCA Pre-K Counts.
PA Pre-K Counts is an income-based program designed for children who: are between age 3 and until the entry age for kindergarten; and live in families earning up to 300% of the federal poverty level. Each program offering PA Pre-K Counts classrooms has their own guidelines. If your child falls into these categories, you may be eligible to apply. PA Pre-K Counts services are free to families.
FCCA Pre-K Counts classrooms have state certified teaching staff with years of experience in the field of early childhood education, use research based curriculum to guide children in their development, and offer family engagement to support the entire family in their growth. FCCA follows the school district calendars in which the classrooms are located, offer center conferences and children receive breakfast, lunch and snack at no charge. All FCCA Pre-K Counts classrooms are quality rated at Pennsylvania’s highest standard of a STAR 4.
